Privacy policy to applicants

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data ("GDPR")

  1. DATA CONTROLLER

  1. TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA BEING PROCESSED

For the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, the following data will be collected: (i) identification and contact data (name, surname, e-mail, telephone) and any other data provided for the application, such as any data relating to training courses undertaken (e.g. qualification, training courses, etc.), data relating to previous professional experience (including salary level), as well as any other information useful for evaluating the application; (ii) CV, including, where present, your photographic image; and (iii) special categories of personal data as defined under Article 9 of the GDPR, where present. This last category includes data relating to an ascertained condition of disability (included to fulfil the obligations provided for by law no. 68/99), or concerning your state of health, maternity, etc. In this regard, we invite you to indicate only such “special” data as are indispensable in order to allow the Controller to adequately assess your application (the data referred to in points (i), (ii) and (iii) will be collectively referred to as "Personal Data").

2.2. Personal Data may be collected by T&C: (i) directly from the data subject, by delivery of the paper CV or by e-mail; (ii) occasionally from public access sources or third parties. For data collected not directly from the data subject, this privacy policy will be provided at the first useful contact.

 

  1. PURPOSE AND NATURE OF CONFERMENT

Personal Data will be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out activities of research, selection and evaluation of personnel and to assess the possible organization of an interview for the purposes of establishing a working relationship or professional collaboration with our company. The provision of Personal Data for such purposes is optional; however, failure to provide such data will make it impossible for the Data Controller to evaluate your application and your professional profile.

 

  1. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The legal basis for the processing consists in the performance of pre-contractual measures adopted on the basis of a request from you; a prerequisite of legitimacy for the processing of your special data is, on the other hand, the General Authorization of the Privacy Guarantor No. 1/2016 concerning the "processing of sensitive data in labour relations", as supplemented and amended by the ruling of the Italian competent authority No. 146 of 5 June 2019.

 

  1. METHOD OF PROCESSING

Personal Data is processed by in-house personnel, who are authorized for this purpose. Processing is carried out both electronically and on paper. Personal Data are processed and stored at the Data Controller's premises and, where necessary, at the premises of professionals and/or companies linked to the Data Controller by an external relationship of responsibility, if any, and specifically appointed for this purpose.

 

  1. COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal Data are not disclosed, but they may be communicated to subjects working on behalf of the Data Controller and linked to it by a service relationship, such as freelancers and private companies that provide consultancy and/or assessment activities as part of the personnel selection process, or that provide legal services, or that manage company IT networks and systems. These subjects act as data controllers, co-owners and external data processors specifically appointed for this purpose and process the data only within the scope of their activity.

  1. STORAGE TIMES

Personal Data are kept for the period necessary to carry out the selection and, in any case, no longer than 12 months.

  1. TRANSFER TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU

Personal Data is not transferred to non-EU countries and, where such a need arises, the Data Controller guarantees that the provisions of Articles 44 et seq. of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 will be complied with.

  1. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

In relation to Personal Data you may exercise, as a data subject, the rights set out in Art. 15 et seq. EU Reg. no. 679/2016, specifically: (i) to access your Personal Data (in full and also by obtaining a copy thereof) and to know whether the Controller holds and/or processes Personal Data relating to you; (ii) to verify, update and obtain the rectification of inaccurate data or the integration of incomplete Personal Data without undue delay; (iii) to obtain the deletion or removal, where possible, of your Personal Data (iv) obtain the restriction of the processing; (v) receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or request its transmission to another data controller without hindrance (right to portability); (vi) object to the processing of your data; (vii) lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Data Protection Authority) or take legal action. The exercise of the rights, with the exception of the right referred to in point (vii), may be made by contacting the Controller by sending a request to the ordinary mail address or to the e-mail address privacy@trevisancuonzo.com
