Gordon Harris joined Trevisan & Cuonzo in 2024. Gordon is a leading figure in the international IP scene and has a wealth of experience in IP transactional, litigation case management and enforcement strategies with a global dimension. He was Head of IP at a multinational law firm and has over 30 years' experience practising IP law in the UK courts. He conducted ground-breaking litigation in the UK Supreme Court in Virgin v Zodiac. He is also experienced in the European arena having handled IP and competition law cases in the Court of Justice of the European Union (O2 v H3G and Veng v Volvo). Gordon has been closely involved with the development of the Unified Patents Court since around 2015 and is very familiar with its rules of procedure.

Gordon lectures on IP specialist courses run by Oxford University, Queen Mary College London, and the University of San Francisco. He judges the Oxford International Universities IP Mooting Competition. He is member of AIPPI and INTA; he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Gordon has written widely on IP topics and is well known in the UK for his annual review of patent cases in the UK court which has been published and presented for 26 years.
